Era Indomitus: The Doom of Nakaris
CODEX LORE SUPPLEMENT STORM SONS: DOOM BEFALLS NAKARIS
An illustration I did for my Storm Sons Codex. I’ve been writing bits for my chapter now for about 5 or 6 years, and inevitably the events of the Era Indomitus and the splitting of the galaxy in half by the Great Rift is bound to have an effect on my little corner of the galaxy. So of course Chaos invaded the Chaprer homeworld and completely destroyed it! Here’s a depiction of the last Thunderhawks escaping the destruction of the Fortress-Monestary, just as well too because the Greater Daemons have finally broken the veil into reality (check out the Bloodthirster materialising in another part of the fortress!). Time to get those virus bombs ready for Exterminatus!
I’ve also included the WIP spread for the image too. The one advantage of doing this illustration myself was being able to compose the elements in the image to match the text portion.
