Penitents

The Penitents is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of unknown Founding and origin. Almost nothing is known about this Chapter in Imperial records, except that they were created some time after the Second Founding. The Penitents primarily wear black Power Armour. Parts of their battle-plate is white, including the Aquila or Imperialis on the chest guard, the helm and gauntlets. The shoulder plates are orange-red with black trim. The Chapter’s badge is placed on both shoulder plates while the white squad speciality symbol — Tactical, Devastator, Assault or Veteran — is located on the right knee guard. A white Roman numeral stencilled on the left knee guard indicates company number.
