The Chirurgeon
Medicae Sands, a master chirurgeon and Interrogator in service to the Holy Ordos
This is a painting a did the other day as a bit of an experiment while getting my next commission squared away. I’ve been slower then i should be with the digital paintings as of late, so when a few hours presented themselves, I figured I shouldn’t waist them and try some speedier techniques. My goal was to complete a painting (hell or high water) in one day of work and this is what came of that day.
I’ve simply been getting too caught up in extraneous detail (as usual) and was hoping that i could find a way to break my self out of that mind set (again) and refresh my approach to my paintings. I believe I have succeed (for now… gotta remember to repeat this exercise every so oftin).
