Eldar Box Cover
A box cover from around ‘95/96, I think it was one of a pair, or possibly more at the time. It uses a simple reduced palette which has always been a preference of mine whenever I could use it.
The tracing paper dust cover on this painting is an early draft of this pic, I must have used it as it was to hand when the final pic was whisked away to be reproduced and has been over it since. Interestingly for me to see is that I had always intended to use the billowing cloak to isolate the central figure right from the beginning.
