Monet + Adepta Sororitas – Illustration on Krita

Here is my illustration inspired by Monet’s famous painting “Poppies.”

I wanted to be inspired by his work and mix it with science fiction, specifically Warhammer 40,000.

The idea here was to create a calm, peaceful landscape, patrolled by Sisters of Battle. One of them wanders off for a few seconds to caress the poppies, straying from her mission, from the emperor, to become “human” again.
