WH40K astropata
Model, shapes, and a test rig I’ve made for this character ( a WH40K astropata ), linear blending on the left, and the rigged version on the right ( there are subtle differences, the way the shapes interpolate or the skin/lid moves around the eyes ), only a handful of shapes, no in betweens were made. I also textured and shaded, groomed, lit, rendered, comped the following shots, they are different then the final version in the game/trailer. The body was done by Gergely Mihaly (model), Aniko Salamon (tex), Norbert Nagy (rig, sim), David Farkas ( anim ), and the fuzz by me. Norbert made the rig in maya for the face in the actual trailer and David animated it ( except in one shot, in which I transferred the anim to my existing rig –> see above from 00:33 ).
I also did the background in the 3rd shot, but we dropped it in the end, and used another one instead.
