Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister, Key Art (UE4)
I had the privilege of working on a number of key art pieces for Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister. These were made in Unreal and are featured prominently on the games Oculus and Steam store pages plus the official social network pages.
It was my job to stage, light and capture the various shots in Unreal – in accordance with the brief. I had access to various in game assets which first had to be pulled together, set up in Unreal and posed for the required shots. My client (Other Things) also acted as intermediary between myself and Pixel Toys (game
developer) plus Games Workshop who had the final say.
I’ve included the ‘raw’ Unreal renders so you can see what these looked like before I passed them on for post production and branding -time was tight but the client noted my renders surpassed expectations.
Had fun with this one and proud to have been involved in such an awesome IP!
