Iconography
Across the Warhammer 40K universe, both humans and xenos use distinct iconography to signify their origins, allegiances, and identities—be it their regiment, chapter, warband, or clan. These symbols carry as much narrative weight as the scenes of battle themselves, serving as visual shorthand for honor, history, and ideology. More than mere decoration, this iconography is an essential part of the aesthetic and storytelling of the 40K setting. I’ve always been drawn to the design and meaning behind these emblems, and this collection highlights some of the most striking examples. Each one tells a story, whether it’s a mark of valor, a warning to enemies, or a sign of ancient allegiance. Take your time to explore them—I hope they inspire you as much as they’ve inspired me.
