Corax – Lord of Ravens
My entry for a fight “The primarchs” on one Russian Warhammer forum. I got a great help from my husband with this piece. Also I’d like to mention comrade Zomanuid from warforge.ru who is my opponent in this fight and drew nice Perturabo. Also Zomanuid is an organizer of this fight.
And the main source of inspiration was wonderful audio-story “Raven’s Flight” by Gav Thorpe. I listened it for 5 or 6 times and every time I had a feeling I was there on my own. Great depicting of Raven guards and Corax himself. I especially loved Valerius and the way his relations with Raven guard Bran and Corax were shown.
Some of you, people, asked about the series of the full-size primarchs. There is a possibility that it will be somewhere in a future. At the present time I took a break from all art-fights and contests for all summer. I want to have some rest and to finish many of my own unfinished artworks. By the way, there are sketches of Mortarion and Guilliman between them. So… you’ll see at least one primarch on summer.
