Daemonette Development

Concept I did a while back to redevelop the Daemonettes of Warhammer 40,000. I took various influences from each of the model releases they’ve had over the years, but I focused more heavily on weaponising the allure/disarm/trap mechanisms that Slaanesh daemons have typically held. They are described in lore as ‘equally beautiful and repulsive to behold’ – I like to imagine the latter is usually discovered after it’s too late. The main figure is more of a Herald or squad champion figure, because I wanted to convey the styling of their gear at the same time.
