Pete Knifton’s artwork helped shape the look and feel of early Warhammer 40,000. His raw, loose style captured the chaos and energy of the battlefield, giving his illustrations a real sense of movement and character. This piece features an Eldar Support Dreadnought, the Banshee, fighting an Ork Super Attack Onslaught Dreadnought. Originally appearing in White Dwarf, the artwork was later republished on page 68 of the Warhammer 40,000 Compendium, bringing together material from those early issues.
