Fell Blooded
Riordan the “Moroi” Chieftain of 2nd Warhost and the Blade of Gwydion
This piece depicts Riordan wielding his power sword Bruxa while standing upon the corpse of a Winged Hive tyrant that he had cut down. The event this battle takes place is in M42 during the “Kronos Incursion”. Tyranid forces assault the Fell Blooded’s sector of space known as the “Danu Veil”. Warchief Orso Dearg organizes the defense of the veil. He then dispatches Riordan and the 2nd Warhost to defend the Cardinal world of Lugh.

Riordan is a personal favorite amongst my characters. He is the youngest of the firstborn commanders of the chapter. He was made Chieftain after the events of the Devastation of Baal. Though only being a sergeant and with many surviving veterans of the 2nd Warhost, he was chosen to be their next leader. After their chieftain was killed, Riordan badly wounded rallied his frenzied brothers and was able to hold back the tides of xenos. He now always looks to prove himself and his Warhost against any foe.
