Warhammer 40,000 – Khorne Bloodletter
Another fun fan-art for my on-going cinematic 40k paintings. The main focus like the rest of the set is on creating texture for light to catch. What works on the table top or an illustration can become flat in live-action. So how something reactions to light, how it picks up light or folds the shadows jumps up with importance.
This Bloodletter is a mix between the Rogue Trader era and more modern plastic incarnations. Ive skipped the influences from the 2nd edition and Juan Diaz sculpts from later editions.
