Necromunda Corpse Grinder
This is an illustration i did for the cover of Games Workshop’s ‘Book of Ruin’ for their Necromunda game.
The Corpse Grinders are a deprived, violent gang on the fringe of chaos worship. They are immersed in the darkest aspects of hive life in the 41st Millennium as they butcher up the human remains in preparation for being consumed by the rest of the hive population. (think Soylent Green, grimdark style!) I really wanted to reflect this grim, psychotic mental state in the look of this figure so included lots of gritty details like the human body parts on his apron, (maybe a trophy, maybe a snack, who knows?) All rights belong to Games Workshop.
