Endryd Haar, the Riven Hound – The Horus Heresy Alternatus
++As the newly recovered Angron reunited with his sons, seeing the War Hounds become the World Eaters, a lone gene-son would not witness his Legion’s change. Long since sequestered by Malcador the Sigillite for covert duties, Endryd Haar, the Riven Hound, would foster neither love nor respect for the Red Angel. Whilst on one of these covert undertakings, Horus would enact his great betrayal, throwing the galaxy into chaos and casting distrust upon all progeny of the traitor primarchs.
Despite his Terran origins, Endryd Haar, upon his return, would be captured and imprisoned in the subterranean prison complex of Khangba Marwu on Terra, until such a time as his loyalty could be confirmed. However, no such time would ever arrive, as the Riven Hound would break free from his chains, slaying loyalists in the process. Haar would take to the stars, committed to beginning his own war against the Warmaster, Horus Lupercal.
However, his guerrilla piracy would not last long. Malcador himself would reach out to the Riven Hound in the early days of the civil war, as the Sigillite desired his most violent asset to join a new strike force of Astartes against the Arch-Traitor. Posed with an opportunity to redeem himself for the casualties of his escape, but more importantly, a chance to deeply wound Lupercal, Endryd Haar would willingly be inducted into the Knights-Errant.++
