Scythed Hierodule
Hierodules are rare and colossal beasts, larger by far than even the fearsome Carnifex. Engineered as living siege breakers and bunker busters, each Hierodule’s chitinous armour plates are thick enough to turn away all but the heaviest fire as they charge towards their entrenched prey. The Scythed Hierodule sub-species is armed with four talons large enough to cleave a battle tank in two, with a dorsal spout that can spray powerful bio-acid to flush out – or dissolve – cowering defenders. The presence of a Hierodule signals the Hive Mind’s intent focus on crushing all resistance.
