Secret Level – Warhammer 40k
A couple of years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to an amazing project: the Warhammer 40k Secret Level episode at Blur Studio, where I worked as the Lead Character Artist. I was responsible for creating the four Space Marines, including all their variations, along with some props.
I was also responsible for the Titus head as a kid, his costume has been made by Andrea Bertaccini and the groom by Pratik Virash.
For the Space Marines, we started with a base model that we almost completely reworked, including redoing the ZBrush pass from scratch, as well as the textures and shading. A huge thanks to my friend Andrea Bertaccini who helped me out with the modeling of the additional Space Marine pieces for Metarus, Levantus, and Torvald.
Titus’ adult face was re-used from a previous show. We up-rezed it and reworked it to fit the specific requirements of the episode, while the groom was done by Pratik Virash.
This show was truly a team effort, and I couldn’t be happier with the result ! Everyone poured a lot of love into this show <3
