Sister of Battle fan cutaway – V3
It’s hard to give Sisters of Battle very thick armor, and retain the normal human proportions at the end when in full gear (since they have a normal anatomy, unlike space marines) without cheating/making compromises/deforming their body inside… Here I tried to see how much thickness I can put without messing up the overall silhouette.
Many parts are a bit overkill now and can be trimmed down (the thighs at the back, the lower back, the legs, the sabatons, the knees) which are secondary / less exposed areas anyway and do not need to be that thick.
In animation (where they look majestic) they seem to give them thin leg armor, amongst other little tricks and compromises..
