He once was a legionnaire of the iron hands legion, proudly following his gene father’s orders, fighting in the name of him and the imperium. But tragedy struck when Ferrus Manus was slain by the hands of Fulgrim, it set Nayrak into a frenzy, however despite his fury he was still outnumbered and grievously injured by the treacherous emperor’s children, as his brothers, who thought him slain, fell back he was left behind, left for dead. Barely clinging to life when Rozkrak alongside his equerry Netzach found him, Rozkrak had him patched up by the 10th company’s chief apothecary Charon, who had to replace several limbs with cybernetics. Still enraged by the death of his primarch and, in his eyes, the betrayal of his brothers, he renounced his former loyalties in service to his new found brothers, at first as a way to get vengeance on both his brothers who abandoned him as well as the third legion. However as time passed his loyalty grew more sincere, becoming a devout Khornate as well as a loyal captain under his new warlord Rozkrak.
Nayrak is more calculated and cold then his brothers, while the world eaters anger is like a raging fire, his is more methodical, he leads the skull eaters second company, the blood scourge, with tact and calculated strategies, seeking to break and annihilate his foes in the most efficient way possible. It comes to no surprise his preferred foes are iron hands and their successors as well as emperor’s children
