Oh hello there, this is Stolas The Iron Specter.
I recently suffered a lower back injury that confined me to bed, leading to the creation of this character (or OC, as the young folks say), lying in the somber confines of my room.
He emerged from an idea I had while playing the ‘Unification’ mod for DOW Soulstorm (Survival Mod on Insane). In a daring move, my force commander in Terminator Armor lured a Carnifex, allowing his Veteran comrades to escape a narrow path where the creature was rampaging. Ambushed by an undetected Lictor and a group of Genestealers that appeared out of nowhere, he slew the Lictor but faced insurmountable odds against the remaining enemies. He teleported with only 5% of his total HP, receiving fire support from Terminators who had just arrived behind him. The catch is that, in terms of lore, this would be an impossible situation for a Space Marine.
Lying in bed, I contemplated his fate and concluded that even he didn’t witness what happened. In the moment of his abrupt and thunderous teleportation, he landed on the other side without both arms and his right leg. A Deathwatch Apothecary and an Iron Hands Techmarine assisted in preventing the poisonous infection from Tyranids spreading through his body, sparing him from becoming a Dreadnought. This is the result of how I envision him now.
And yes, I’m still resting, but my back has improved significantly.
