Boltgun (Game)

Officially published artwork from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a retro-inspired boomer shooter developed by Auroch Digital and published by Focus Entertainment. Released on May 23, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch, the game blends the frenetic style of 1990s classics like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D with the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players control Sternguard Veteran Malum Caedo, blasting through Chaos Cultists, Chaos Space Marines, and Daemons across a gloriously bloody pixel and sprite-soaked rampage. A DLC, Forges of Corruption, followed in June 2024, with a sequel now in development. Artwork covers promotional material officially published as part of the game.
