Dawn Legion

The Dawn Legion is a fan-created lost XI Legion led by Tlatia the Radiant, a female Primarch who landed on a former hive world that nature had reclaimed after Old Night. Cast out by the tribes that raised her, she grew up in the wilds and passed her love of the natural world and its cycles on to her sons. Drawing on Aztec culture, the Legion wears orange and blue and is built around animal totems: Jaguar scouts, Eagle leaders, Caiman Techmarines, Rabbit Apothecaries, Snake Librarians and Owl Chaplains, with the Tecuani as Honour Guard. They make war through adaptation and earn glory by taking important foes alive. Tlatia’s habit of fighting beside her brothers’ Legions leaves some of her sons hungry for glory of their own.
