Exalted Blades

The Exalted Blades are an 11th Founding Imperial Fists Successor Chapter that was born out of the Feast of Blades, the martial tournament held between the Sons of Rogal Dorn. When one of the Feasts became the target of a Chaos invasion the Imperial Fists and their successor Chapters of the day pooled their resources and formed a joint garrison to safeguard the region of space around which the Chaos incursion had originated. Years later, the many petitions made by the Chapter Masters of the line of Dorn were answered and the 11th Founding was sanctioned by the High Twelve. The surviving members of the joint garrison would go on to be among the founding members of the new Chapter, serving as both it’s officers and it’s veteran core. And so the Exalted Blades were born.
