Liberators
The Liberators is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of unknown Founding and origin. Almost nothing is known about this Chapter in Imperial records, other than its involvement in the disastrous joint action, known as the Thrassos Disaster, that occurred when WAAAGH! Dregdakka overran the Adransa Cluster in 928.M41. In 928.M41, WAAAGH! Dregdakka ploughed headlong into the Adransa Cluster, causing untold devastation. On the planet of Thrassos a combined force of Space Marines from the Liberators and Iron Knights Chapters attempted to halt the Orks’ steamroller advance. A horde of Orks including Dregdakka himself were lured onto a huge refinery platform before Techmarines destroyed all bridges.
