Relictors

The Relictors are a Renegade Space Marine Chapter raised in the 36th Millennium, though of an unknown genetic origin and Founding. The Relictors were one of the 20 Chapters of the Astartes Praeses, created by the Imperium of Man after the Horus Heresy specifically to guard the threatened sectors of Imperial space surrounding the Eye of Terror. It is believed but not confirmed that their gene-seed was created by the Adeptus Mechanicus on Mars by culturing the gene stock of both the Ultramarines and the Dark Angels. When the Relictors were first established they were known as the “Fire Claws”.
