Terrain

This is a collection of Warhammer 40K artwork where terrain plays an important role in the composition. This can be anything like a jungle, desert, mountains, etc. with more of a nature aspect to it. Places such as buildings, cityscapes, tech centers would be under the Architecture category. Terrain often helps set the tone of the piece, whether it’s the dense foliage of a death world or the barren wastes of a long-fought battlefield. It can also emphasize the scale of the subjects, making warriors appear small against towering cliffs or vast open plains. Many artists use terrain not just as a backdrop, but as a storytelling element that reveals more about the setting and the dangers within it.
