Vindicator-Chaplain
“A man, like any loyal hunting dog, can become rabid, and when they bare their fangs you do what is expected of you. You put it down.” – Silence, Vindicator-Chaplain of the Watchers of Anarchy
Born from those damned forests of caliban, Silence served his legion well, he served his father well. Even when he was wounded at the hands of the night haunter he persisted. But how far can a man be bent before breaking? That question was ever present during the heresy, and it saw the bright hearts of loyal men crack and become seething pools of contempt. Silence and those of the 47th chapter had seen how the Lion had discarded their kin, Luther and countless others had become exiles in all but name. Their father held nothing but distaste for his sons, the murder of Nemiel proved as much. But what good is a pride without its leader, unless another were to take his place. That was how they had reasoned it, Luther had their best interests, he was the Emperor’s true servant. So where had it all gone wrong? Caliban, Lion, Luther, the legion, they were all gone now, so what did that make him? A chaplain, a servant of his corpse emperor, he was nothing but the voice of dead men made manifest.
A wonderful piece of the jawless chaplain himself, commissioned a while back from the MAN Tazio Bettin.
