Angels of Redemption
Born on the harsh Frozen world of Newmark was recruited by the Dark Angels where his upbringing hunting large beasts made him a formidable scout leading to him quickly rising through the ranks. After becoming a 5th company Lieutenant, Rowan was attending an honor duel between the Dark Angels and Space Wolves when a rouge warband of Choas Cultists attacked the ceremony. Fearlessly engaging the enemy, his calm and prowess was a clear factor in banishing the Chaos heretics.
Impressed veteran Astartes of both chapters declared him the hero of the fight. To honor him he was gifted with weapons to match his abilities. From the Dark Angels; a master crafted Stalker pattern bolter dubbed ‘judgment’. From the Space Wolves; a rune axe, blessed to be wielded by a true hunter. The indecent left Rowan with a intense hatred for chaos and an unshakable regard for loyalty to his brothers and the Emperor.
After the heresy, Rowan was secretly recruited by members of the Dark Angels Inner Circle to be Company Captain of the newly formed Angels of Redemption successor chapter. Their goal to hunt down the fallen. Not to kill, but to redeem and bring back under the wings of The Dark Angels…per the orders of The Lion Himself.
