Buccaneer, trader, adventurer, explorer
One of several character images I did with no particular purpose in mind.
A piratical feel with the ‘Blackbeard’ influences (I even labelled him Isryal Haands as a working title – the real Israel Hand was blackbeards 2nd in command), the profusion of weapons and oversized coat did not mean he was specifically supposed to be a pirate, I liked to be vague and preferred the viewer to make their own stories about who or what he may be.
It’s a loose drawing and was probably unfinished, I’m not sure if it was used anywhere.
