Eldar Guardian Defender
A more modern rendition of Games Workshop’s long out of production Eldar Guardian Defender (though possibly a proto-Dire Avenger). Being effectively space elves, they had to be tall and slim, with a stream-lined design. But they’re also dirty dirty aliens so they couldn’t have the same proportions as humans either.
I think one of the hardest things with the Eldar is visually they were a product of their time. So how do you capture that turning point in pop culture without it become too modern. How do you keep the slightly awkward, slightly cool visual that modern Eldar have moved away from?
