Making of an Ubermensch
This is the final digital addition to the series started in the nineties as simple pen and ink drawings showing acolytes inducted and altered into superhuman warriors.
A full page graphic panel rather than a standalone illustration I wanted a bit of sinister mystery to it with the feel of a medieval illuminated manuscript projected into a dystopian future.
I had drafted out a very similar idea a few years previously in 2008 but never had the chance to complete it and it still sits unfinished as a line drawing on board, that did serve as a template for this digital version though.
