So I’m reading the Ultramarine Omnibus whenever I have some freetime and no desire to draw. I have to admit, I didn’t like how this whole Nightbringer vs Uriel thing turned out. But the concept of one Spacemarine staring down the most powerful being to ever have existed really appealed to me. So I decided to try and render it. I missed a few details in the book like the eldar, barzano, and the meltabomb, but this is basically what I saw in my head during that whole scene. A cave, a lightsource from a mining elevator, the nightbringer, and uriel.
