Oath of Moment by Valentin Frouté

Oath of Moment

Fan art largely inspired by Jacques-Louis David’s painting “The Coronation of Napoleon” (1807).

I wanted to recreate the famous photograph taken by Euphrati Keeler in the first novel of The Horus Heresy, “Horus Rising,” by Dan Abnett. @dabnett

We see Loken taking his oath of moment before Sedirae, Targost, Abaddon, Torgaddon, and Aximand in the Vengeful Spirit’s embarkation bay.

I drew this image for fun and to challenge myself, so please feel free to tell me what you think.
