Ork Battle Wagon
One of my favourite bits I did for GW a lifetime ago. The foreground originally had a couple of rather sad and very dead gretchins (goblins) that the warlord was contemplating. All very sad and poignant.
Alas – it was deemed somehow unsuitable and I had to add the wreckage in the foreground on another piece of illustration board which in the end covered the offending corpses. Don’t know where the original has gone – or who has it, so they will remain covered. If anybody knows – I’d love to find out. This is also on my list of things I’d love to do a full painting of……..but probably never will. Sigh……… PS. If you look closely, you can just see the physical line of the over layed piece. No digital jiggery-pokery back then.
