Cold, unyielding, and forged in bitterness, Perturabo is the master of siege and ruin. The Primarch of the IV Legion, he is the hammer of Olympia, the breaker of empires, and the architect of despair. Unlike his brothers who sought glory, Perturabo was cursed with endless wars of attrition—grinding sieges that won no laurels, only resentment. His genius built wonders, but his soul was shackled to destruction.
When the Horus Heresy came, Perturabo’s heart turned to iron within himself. Betrayed by the Emperor’s neglect, he unleashed his Legion with merciless precision, reducing worlds to ash and monuments to rubble. To face the Iron Warriors was to face inevitability itself—walls crumbled, defenses fell, and hope died.
“Tell them ruin has come to their world,
Death, despair and red war…
Tell them their hopes and pride have come to nothing,
Tell them their empty whispers fall upon deaf ears,
their gods are dead,
Human reason has killed them,
Tell them the Angels of Death have come,
Tell them nothing can save them now.” — Perturabo, The Hammer of Olympia
Perturabo embodies relentless inevitability: a god of sieges, a lord of iron and ashes. His legacy is written in craters, shattered fortresses, and the silence of the dead.
He is Iron Within and Without.
