Crimson Shades
The Crimson Shades is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of unknown origin and Founding. The Librarians of the Crimson Shades, like their counterparts of the Space Wolves and the White Scars, are one of the noteworthy examples that take exception to the doctrines of the Codex Astartes. Though the role of this Chapter’s Librarians is not so different from the traditional role found for Librarians in more orthodox Chapters, it is in the methods they employ that they differ significantly from the majority of the Adeptus Astartes. Exactly what this difference is has not yet been recorded. Herodytes is an Apothecary of the Crimson Shades Chapter. The Crimson Shades primarily wear red Power Armour.
