Dragonspears

The Dragonspears is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter and a successor of the Salamanders. It is a Chapter composed wholly of Primaris Space Marines and was raised during the Ultima Founding of ca. 999.M41 by Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl. A fleet-based Chapter, the Dragonspears have won renown fighting alongside the Space Wolves against the Orks at the Gnarion Reef, and have become expert Greenskin hunters. The Salamanders were kept largely unaware of what new Successor Chapters were created from their gene-seed by Belisarius Cawl, and once they learned of their existence, they were always quick to dispatch a Chaplain to the Chapter to teach them the ways of the Promethean Cult.
