Emperor's Lions

The Emperor’s Lions are officially an Ultramarines Successor Chapter who answer solely to Primarch Roboute Guilliman. Unofficially, they are a World Eaters Successor. They harbour an immense hatred toward the World Eaters Warbands. The Lions view themselves as what Angron’s sons could have been, had they not fallen to Chaos and betrayed the Emperor of Mankind. The Chapter is split into 10 Companies, each specialising in a different battlefield role. Battleline, Siegecraft, Air Assault, Heavy Vehicles, Special Operations, Reconnaissance, etc, each company has it’s own 5-10 man elite combat unit. These units function not only as the company’s finest warriors but also as it’s command cadre.
