Iron Judges

The Iron Judges began as the Grand Company of Timothicus, lost in the warp on the way to Olympia after the Sak’trada Deeps campaign. Emerging around M34, they found their recruiting world a barren rock and an Imperial Navy garrison ready to destroy them. A secret message on the Legion’s encrypted vox lured them to a Chaos-tainted Iron Warriors warband, who took them to Medrengard as slaves. After years fighting for its Chaos Lord, Timothicus led a coup around the 12th Black Crusade and took the title of Warsmith. Purged of corruption and calling themselves Tried and Pure, they blew up their old master’s fortress and became the Iron Judges. Now they bring the Judgement of Iron to the Imperium that wronged them.
