Nemean Lions

The  Nemean Lions  (High Gothic: Leones Nemeaeus) are a Loyalist Successor Chapter of the stoic  Imperial Fists, raised during the 23rd ‘Sentinel’ Founding in the early years of the 38th millennium. They were created in response to an increase in Ork activity in the vicinity of the Aeaean Cluster in Ultima Segmentum. Regulus Shaka, the founder and first Chapter Master, fought hard to establish the Chapter and mould them into a well-equipped fighting force – despite the indifference of the Imperium’s logistical system – to make sure they could resist the greenskin hordes that opposed them. A Chapter born from a desire to prove the worth of the warriors of Caelus, the Nemean Lions are a young but proud Chapter that does not shy away from a challenge and is always ready to answer the Imperium’s call.
