The Argos is a Courageous class battleship, which serves as the flagship of the Nemean Lions. Originally constructed during the Great Crusade and later lost amidst the turmoil of the Horus Heresy and the Great Scouring, the ship was recovered during the 38th Millennium and painstakingly restored for use by the Astartes Chapter. Though once a truly formidable warship, constant warfare, field repairs, and the slow decay of irreplaceable systems have left the Argos a shadow of her former strength. Nevertheless, her size, powerful weapon batteries, superb void shields, and the determination of her crew to keep her operational ensures that she remains both the symbolic and strategic heart of the Chapter’s fleet.
