The Order of the Midnight Paladin
Intrducing the The Order of the Midnight Paladin, a Minor Militant Order of the Adepta Sororitas originating from the Order of the Argent Shroud. The Paladins are most notable for their unique approach towards warfare and battle strategy. Sisters from the Order are extremely efficient and tactical in their deployments, often choosing practical and pragmatic military solutions to the everchanging circumstances of war. The Order is organized into various branches, each dedicated to every possible specialization available to a Sister, such as a Hospitaller branch and a Famulous branch. This allows the Paladins to remain entirely self-sufficient and to handle their operational requirments internally. The Sisters of the Order will always choose the most strategic option in battle, forgoing even personal glory to ensure the completion of their mission. Tactical innovations, streamlining, and even extensive research into enemy operations are encouraged and expected. While the Sisters do have a standard color scheme of white, blue and gold, they are known to either paint their armor or implement color shift technology to better match the environment of any mission they are deployed to. The Paladins operate on the fringes of Imperium Nihulus, guarding over a handful of worlds against the various xenos and demonic threats that plague this side of the Imperium. Despite the tragedy of the Great Rift, these worlds have remained a beacon of hope and stability in the region in great part to the defensive efforts of the Sisters.
