Iron Warrior
Commission done for @sgt_monnos
Serving within the terminator elite of the Iron Warriors, the Tyranthikos, Garaakos was a renowned fighter whose accolades were known throughout the other Grand Battalions during the Great Crusade. Even gaining praise from Perturabo for his ability to lay waste to enemy formations and fortresses alike.
It was during the siege of a non-compliant human world when Garaakos earned praise from the Lord of Iron. Stomping across No Man’s Land with other terminators, blasting gun emplacements from the ramparts with his autocannon, his super-human mind calculated where detonations would need to take place in order for the wall to come crumbling down. Not missing a step his auto-senses targeted the points on the wall. Just as he was reloading his autocannon, a flurry of black smoke and white flame launched from his shoulders as missiles sought their target.
Garaakos was uncharacteristically modest about this accolade, however, he was still counted amongst one the most elite Tyranthikos for his ability to destroy enemy fortifications with his limited weaponry.
During the latter stages of the Great Crusade he was transferred to the 3rd Grand Battalion where he met a Terran techmarine named Ogdromok. He commended Ogdromok on the repairs and maintenance made to his armour and weapons, and would often seek him out after every battle to discuss the conflict and to confide in each other.
Millennia after the heresy he contracted the Obliterator virus, slowly succumbing to the twisting corruption. Not wishing to see a close comrade become such an abomination, Ogdromok bade his tech-priest to construct an ad-hoc Dreadnought casket out of a salvaged suit of centurion armour. Thanks to the machinations of the Dark Mechanicum, ironically, the donning of the suit halted the transformation though not before large portions of his body became living weapons.
