This is my collection of free Warhammer 40K SVG icons. Most of them are the shoulder pad symbols you see on the Space Marine chapter, Chaos Space Marine legion and faction tags around the site, and the collection covers a lot of ground that is hard to find as a clean vector anywhere else.

They are not all from the same place, so here is the honest version. Some I drew from scratch, usually because I went looking for a chapter badge, could not find a decent vector of it anywhere, and ended up making it myself. Some are built from existing art that I redrew as proper vector shapes so they scale properly. A few came out of the Baka Design 40K icon collection, which is effectively gone now, the Google Drive and the directory of files were taken down a couple of years back and only the DeviantArt post and a community ZIP of most of them survive, and I keep a link to that ZIP on my Resources page. The rest are existing icons I have cleaned up, corrected or modified so the whole set hangs together in one consistent style. What none of them are is original 40K iconography, the chapter badges and faction symbols themselves belong to Games Workshop, this site is fan run and not endorsed by GW.
Because these are SVG files rather than flat images, they stay sharp at any size. Scale one up for a banner or a print, shrink it for an avatar or a roster sheet, recolor it to match your own scheme, and it holds its edges either way. Use them for homebrew chapters, army lists, videos, wikis, campaign packs, unit markers, whatever you are putting together.
They are free. All I ask is a credit and a link back to 40K Gallery, and every download page has a credit line you can copy straight out of it.
The list keeps growing. Every time I attach an icon to a tag it appears here on its own, so it is worth coming back to see what is new. If there is a chapter, legion, klan, craftworld, dynasty or faction symbol you cannot find anywhere, tell me and I will see what I can do about adding it.
