Warp Spiders
Inktober-Sculptober-Mashtober-Paintober day 6. My good person Lhykosidae, mysterious mentor of the Warp Spiders, maybe their secretive Phoenix Lord. Glory to the Eldar!
I’ve drawn inspiration from actual species Lycosidae, a Wolf Spider (well, it was an obvious reference), hence the configuration of the eyes. A pair of claws is an obvious choice too (takes the number of limbs up to 8 and adds to the spidery look), but in this I am not the first
I enjoyed the process, sculpting is a great thing for figuring out the design in full, but it sucks when it comes to choosing one angle for a beauty shot. It conveys like 60% of the design
