This is a super old piece I painted: Warpsmith’s Revenge for Cubicle 7 / Games Workshop, painted for Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay.
Warpsmiths are renegade Techmarines who build Daemon Engines for Chaos warbands. Many years after I painted it I have made peace with it … It was planned as a cover artwork but ended up in a forgotten archive I’m afraid … had a revival as a spot illu in the Mechanicum books published in early 2026.
