Alpha Legion
“The 2 billion mortals of this backwater planet have new masters now, and we have much to teach them, much planets of the Imperium to spread them to, much disorder to be sown, and much plunder to be taken, my Cohort…”
-Daedalus, the Dominator, the recently elevated Chaos Lord of the 13th Cohort.
As the flames of the Heresy dwindled, the 13th Cohort, a chapter of the Alpha Legion numbering between 1,000-1,750 Astartes, went to the Eastern Fringe alongside the rest of their legion, and as this led to engagements against the Ultramarines, the 13th Cohort, unlike the majority of the Alpha Legion, retreated into the Eye of Terror and occupied [REDACTED], an unknown mountainous death world located in a southwestern sector near the edge of the Eye.
A lethal duelist that was member to the legion’s Seeker Squads during the Heresy, Daedalus was only a Champion of the warband when he impaled his Harrowmaster through the back of his chest and blasted his head with his own plasma pistol.
Now given the privilege to coordinate instead of execute, Daedalus sets the 13th upon the Imperium as he looks for new alliances with other renegades and heretics. They surely wouldn’t mind if he or his brethren “borrowed,” a thing or two while they’re at it.
Well, this was delayed enough. Thanks to @enter.the.butcher and @imagistiris for getting this commission done for me last Christmas! I’m pretty ashamed it took me this long
