Dies Irae – Day of Wrath

Today I thought I’d show you a little project I’ve been working on for a while. This little pain in the ass took me like a week and it’s finally finished. I give you the Dies Irae, Imperator Titan of the Legio Mortis. This titan was one of the most awe-inspiring weapons of destruction that the Imperium of Man could call into action during the Great Crusade but during the fell years of the Horus Heresy it became a wanton destroyer of worlds, aiding the fallen Warmaster Horus in the massacres he waged across the galaxy. It was the Legio Mortis that eventually cracked the walls of the Emperor’s palace on Terra allowing the traitor space marine legions to spill into the palace proper. In later years this wicked, beast of a machine would fight in conflicts across the galaxy, gaining a hated reputation and the personal ire of many of the loyal titan legios that it fought against. It was finally slain on Hydra Cordatus, by a demi-legion of loyal titans, while aiding the Iron Warriors in the siege of the planetary stronghold.

That’s all for now. I hope to have more art for y’all soon. Enjoy.
