Within the Iron Butchers, the Cult of the Blood God is not evenly spread: while a large part of the Iron Warriors of the Warband walk the red path, either out of pure opportunism and search for power, or for real devotion to the Blood God, another part still embraces the old Iron Warrior way of not bending the knee to the Dark Gods. Among them, the most important, respected, and feared is surely the former Stor-Besashk, and current Siege Master of the Iron Butcher Dhakarion Vhronn. Prematurely aged by the Hrud during the Great Crusade, almost killed under the trucks of a Rhino, and crippled beyond recognition, Vhronn is almost an oddity within a Warband that often recognize physical strength and single combat prowess over anything else.
Even if physically unexceptional, his skills are such that Warsmith Vhorrax himself considers Vhronn his closest advisor about any matter of long-range warfare. Vhronn represents the original soul of the IVth legion: like iron, he maintained his true core but reshaped and adapted himself to the succeed amongst the Khornates.
