I am Argel Tal
Captain Argel Tal, 7th Assault Company of the Serrated Sun Chapter, Word Bearers Astartes Legion. This took me forever. Months. It is just a drawing, there is nothing overly spectacular about it, but it means so much to me. For years after reading The First Heretic, and then re-reading it several times, I wanted to draw him. One of my most beloved characters, the one I feel for more than for any other. He never had an official depiction or a model, so giving him a face was a challenge. I made him the way I imagined him. Some might agree or disagree, but this is what I created and this is how I will see him from now on. This is Argel Tal of the Serrated Sun. Before the fall to Chaos. Before the fall of Monarchia. A son of his father. It’s just a drawing, but a part of my soul is in it. I hope you will love it too.
